Well I came out earlier then I expected. Through a rather funny series of events my mom found out that i'm trans.

This was the best thing that could have happened. She accepted the real me, I have never felt so loved. I seriously have the best mom, she made an account here on susans i think her username is transomom, if she has any questions please answer them. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. :')

I told my mom yesterday (and I bet I'm quite a bit older than you) and she said she's accepted that part of me for a long time, but would "like to talk." Haven't had that talk yet, but it's coming soon .

On another note, I love your avatar, fuzed. She was one of my favorite characters from Firefly and who I got when I took the "Which Firefly Character Are You?" quiz on Facebook. I was happy with that result.

On a related note, I am about 1/2 way into my transition and have adopted the name "Jayne" as my transition name. My girlfriend's ringtone for me is the song, "The Man They Call Jayne" (Or is it "The Hero of Canton"?).

LOL. Iv'e considered kaylee as a transition name but I decided to go with ashley, I need to get back to watching firefly.

just an hour ago i was arguing with a friend to settle wich between Mal and Wash is the best character. But i mean Jayne is pretty cool too, and rather handsome with is home made hat \o/

I LOVE Dr Who. Been watching it for years. I remember finding out who the FIFTH Doctor was going to be. I even hosted a 50th anniversary watch party last November. It was fun. Served fish sticks and custard and an assortment of other goodies :-)

Not sure if you mentioned it or not yet, but when are you planning (if at all) to transition?

Oh yeah I definately plan on transitioning. I might buy a wig and a dress and some cute heels. :3 Of course I'm clueless on how to get on hormones, I know that I should go to therapy so I can get prescribed but I live in a very conservative town as i moan and begroan often. :/
