I did.  The majority of my avatars on here will most likely be drawn.  On other forums that were more geared toward, fiction and roleplay, I've used real women who I admire and/or were similar in appearance to my mental image of myself.  Those avatars fit the fantasy nature of those forums.

Here is more about reality.  About all of us coming together to share our journeys as figure out, and become who we really are, as well as providing support for each other through our real, everyday issues.  Doesn't seem right to use a real person here that wasn't me.  And as I'm not yet comfortable enough to use myself as my avatar, I'm sticking to my sketches and such.

I think the kid in Calder's avatar is adorable.

I wish I had Calder's youth so I could have found this site and look into transitioning at an younger age.  I respect his bravery in doing that at such a young age.

I respect Malachite's ability to save money even when there are other things he wants.

LH is such an awesome friend.  He's very friendly and intelligent. 

Malachite is clearly a well respected member on the forum, and looking at how he courteous he is in his interactions with others, it's very clear to see why that is.
