Does anyone find summer is not a good season when it comes to ftm clothing at all?

Summer is terrible for me because I live in a hot humid environment and those binders are like sauna suits. But, only one summer left to get through. Despite two years of living here I have yet to find a way to make summers bearable with a binder.

Boy tell me about it.  Pennsylvania was rough.. If I'd lived in the deep south (where I now am temporarily residing) when I was binding I think i'd have to have stopped for the summer.  I can barely stand it in shorts and a tank top sometimes.

I think summer is a great season for FTMs who have had top surgery, but really quite the opposite for those who haven't.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

^This. It makes 'stuff' harder to hide in t-shirts and whatnot, so binders have to be worn more often while you really don't need the extra heat. I was hoping I would get my top surgery before summer, but alas. One more sweaty summer for me. *grumble grumble*

Im going to have top surgery this June, right before the summer, but seriously, it feels like the summer now in california.

Hoping y'all have top surgery asap. I nearly died last summer. I live in New Mexico. It's not humid at all, but it's hot enough.

I've been passing better during the winter than I did in the summer.  I think part of it was my smaller frame can be covered up more with winter layers.  And yeah those binders can be brutal when it's hot out...

I remember doing manual labour here in Australia during a 44 C day (111 F) in my binder.  It was brutal.  Won't have to worry about it anymore though.  I always preferred winter before surgery because of being able to layer.
