I just wanted to take a moment to say hello.  I am not sure what else to say since I am shaking so bad I can barely type.  But anyway hello from a 42 year old who has finally said enough is enough.

Welcome Christinetobe to the forum.

First off breathe. You are among friends here and it will be all good.

You have not said if you have a therapist yet, if not it is the most important thing i feel you need for your health.

First steps are hard i know all so well, but it does get easier once you get past all the fears.

Safe passage on your lives path.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

A big warm welcome to the family Christine! Relax and breathe sweetie because you just found the best place to be in your situation. Why? Because all of us here know exactly how you feel right now. You feel confused, scared, embarrassed, guilty and shamed, did I miss any? See, we know you well and we are here now to help guide you through a lot of these feelings with education and compassion. Most all of us have been where you are right now and decided to do what you did, say enough is enough! Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like that a LOT), learn or just have some distracting fun and meet the rest of the family. The information you get here is invaluable because it comes from REAL people just like you at every stage of transition from questioning to Post Op. You will learn the process, what works, what doesn't work and everything in between. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home, because you are now! :)
