I am kind of scared to because I love the original too much! :) The only remake I have seen lately was "Red Dawn". I liked it, but it copied the original too much for me. There is just no beating Patrick Swayze as Jed! :)

I haven't seen the original one though, so I can't say how it is, I did hear that the original was scary and based off the book which I've read.

It starred Sissy Spacek and it was scary. Nothing freaked me out like the original "Exorcist" though. I cant watch it in the dark to this day! :o

Never watched the entire movie, ever. It's truly one of the most shocking movies ever, I only saw snippets on TV and just had to get away because I couldn't watch it... I did watch Cannibal Holocaust though. It was horrible. I was in a state of shock for two days, the movie didn't leave my mind, very, very haunting. They arrested its director for murder though they didn't convict him, so go figure what the movie's like!

I'll pass. Remakes suck. (That goes for sequels as well. The ONLY exceptions to that are Friday The 13th, Part 2 & Evil Dead: Dead By Dawn.)
