Frigg

Hello, susans.org. I have lurked here on and off for a while now. Now I have made an account.

I guess I'm in a similar spot that a lot of people here are. I am just trying to figure things out. Going slow is my approach but I've been going so slow in regards to my gender I haven't done a single real thing about it. I am still not doing much big things about it but I have decided recently to make the skin on my face look less awful.

So, hello. I am here now. I am an aspiring MtF who picked the username Frigg.

A big warm welcome to the family Frigg! I am sure by now you know we all care for each other and want to see others succeed in their lives and dreams. I am glad you formally joined us and are searching yourself. I hope we can make a difference in your life and help you decide what you need to do. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to finally welcome you to the family! :)

Welcome Frigg, I too have been going slow and started to do a few things also related to being less hideous in general in my case. You have folks that completely understand you here, trust me. I have gotten great advice from many good people here at Susan's in a very short amount of time.

Thanks to my therapist and the Susan's gang, I have graduated from denial to acceptance, to being possibly the worst dressed, maligned makeup mistake, manNOcure to my fingers, male to female transfailure you ever did see.

Though I am now mostly hairless, thanks to getting my butt whipped by a bottle of Nair for Men (because I'm not ready to use the women's yet, but I have bought it as well lol.) Sure, it is temporary, but it made me feel better than anything else I have done to date. Unfortunately I look and sound like "Jake from State Farm", only heavier and less hairy.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Toni:

The fell of no/less body hair is wonderful. I usually just go the Razor + Determination + Time route. Results vary but the end result is very nice. I might use my epilator more if it not were for it being as loud as a vacuum. Anyway you sound like an aspiring transsuccess to me.

Welcome Frigg, as someone who is also just starting with everything I think I know how you feel.  I have only been here a short time myself and really have only scratched the surface.  I do have to say though that the amount of knowledge here is incredible and I learn something new every time I am here.  So welcome and enjoy yourself.
As Brett Michaels said Every Night Has its Dawn :)

Hi Frigg! I just joined this family last week, and as I haven't started doing anything to transition yet either, this community has been my best resource for finding the information and support I need.
I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I do!
