Androcur should, on its own, sufficiently inhibit androgen such that Spiro would not be required. It should be taken daily, not once every 2 days.
I have, however, come across some women who took both at the same time. The only advantage I could see from combining both would be to not have to take as high dosages of either alone such that a low dose of one can be combined with a low dose of the other (thus minimizing side-effects from either medication) and the other advantage would be that Androcur tends to increase water retention while Spiro decreases it (they neutralize each other, to a certain degree).
As always, consult your doctor before, take necessary precautions with both, be well-informed of their side-effects. Also, avoid birth control pills as they increase risks of thrombosis (DVT, pulmonary embolism). Progynova is safer. Stick with that.
