TRIGGER WARNING: YOUTH, SUICIDAL IDEATION

I've needed a little time to process this one.

There was a newcomer to the Transgender Parents Support Group this weekend, a mother of a 22yo MTF daughter. A.M. is completely accepting of her daughter and her daughter's transition. But the daughter, whom I'll call Smtf, is suicidal and refusing to seek help. She has been hospitalized in the past, but as an adult she has the free will to seek help or not. A potentially good sign is that a few weeks ago for Smtf's birthday A.M. got a birthday cake with her name on it. While Smtf didn't have any of the cake on her birthday, the day after she ate about half of it. But shortly thereafter she fell back into depression.

Please, friends, pray for A.M. and Smtf, that they might both find comfort and peace and that they will both come through this intact.

They are both in my prayers.

She looked exhausted, and our support group meets at 10am. She looked so weary, and yet so fierce at the same time.

Lord Jesus this is for you we need your help our brother and hero... please touch their lives and hearts with your wonderful compassion and strength, show Your love... they hurt... touch them
