Okay so about a month ago I bought the Silkn Flash n' Go permanent hair removal system . It was $240 at the time of purchase and given the lack of immediate results (which even the reviews and instructions said it could take months for noticeable results) after just one use and a month later I have very noticeable possibly permanent results. Although minor it's a definite result just off of one use after a month of just one use.

What I did was I went by the directions on one leg and used the flasher, and the other leg I only shaved. I went a month without shaving and this is the result.

I hope the pictures show, but I can obviously tell two things. Technique will definitely give better results but it is obvious that this definitely works over time. The hardest part is getting to those hard to reach places while maintaining accurate coverage but I'll bet that after enough uses according to the dirextions given that within 6 months of use I could potentially expect majority permanent hair loss.

I have the silk'n sensepil xl 65 something. I have been using it for almost 5 months. The results seem pretty good actually. I don't expect them to be permanent though.

My body is pretty hairless except for fine white hairs. The exceptions are my back which I haven't been persistent at. I have no partner and it's rather difficult to do. And, I stopped using it on my face because e3000 people say not to have laser for 3 months prior to their electrolysis. I am not necessarily going there, but I plan to have electrolysis on my face.

What I mean by pretty hairless is that there are little patches of dark hair regrowth on my legs, arms, breast and stomach. So, instead of something like 100 flashes as I was doing at first, to cover my body, it is now like 20.

The areas with no hair on my legs still have dots that I assume are hair dormant or empty hair follicles.

I can't tell if hair has reduced in my pubic area. But, I didn't decide to do that area until a month ago or so.

Anyway, for now, it seems like it is worth doing to reduce how much needs to be treated with electrolysis as other people are speculating about here.

One thing to be careful with is that I got little burns all over my body when I first set it to the highest setting. They have gone away. But, since then I use an ice pack to cool the area first, then flash and if it is still hot after the flash put the ice pack there again. As a result, I have used the highest setting everywhere since then and not had burns.

It took some getting used to for the highest setting on mine but it's never painful, except when I'm not payin attention and do it on a tattoo and then wow that hurts and leaves blisters.

I hardly have enough time though to really pretty myself up and keep up on it though. I keep redoing my armpits but it seems to have little effect there, and that's one of the key areas that I want gone but I think the follicles are too thick. I don't know.

These new cartridges drastically bring down the long term cost compared to the standard 1000 flashes cartridges.   

Now that is a definite worth-while something to get. I think I'm only at a couple hundred flashes yet on mine but one of those would definitely work with my usage rate. I'm just in process of spending way too much money on something that has absolutely no practical use. Kinda typical of me really........wait.......I think there's a stereotype somewhere in there.
