I second the finasteride suggestion! I didn't have toooo much receding hairline, but it was higher than a Cis female. finasteride has brought mine forward. Although I have heard the general rule of thumb is that it can take around 7 years off of your hairline at max, so look at pictures of yourself from around 5 years ago, that's what you could reasonably expect in terms of hairline advancement in finasteride. (as a side note, since starting finateride my eyelashes have grown major long! Helps with passing imo)
I would also recommend getting some proper salon quality haircare products. There are plenty good ones out there designed specifically for fine or thinning hair that can work wonders on it. Store bought or supermarket brands are just terrible in comparison.
Fish oil substitutes are great for making your hair thicker and stronger too, try them out if your hair is brittle or breaks easily.
There is also scalp advancement surgery as an option, but that's expensive and obviously is a major operation not to be taken lightly.
How much and what you need all comes down to how bad your hair is really, but don't give up on it and run straight to the wigs just yet ^^
Give it a year of good treatment and then see how it is before you make any decisions
