About my last hope of having a family member or friend help during my surgery is out. Solo surgery time and the hospital doesn't even have a policy of letting a person leave by themselves.

Depending on when your surgery is, I can see if I can give you a hand, even if it is just being there.

I tweaked my signature to show my visit to Dr Bowers. I am certain I can make a solo trip work, but life would be better if I wasn't left out to dry by my family, a few of whom claim support, yet here we are, and they've had that surgery date for a full year.

Sorry, that's too early. A month later, and I'd have seen about getting tickets to get out there. Could have also had a talk with Bowers as well, even though I'm at least a year out of surgery.

What made me unhappy today? Nothing really! I just missed my girlfriend. She was out of the house all day but she's home now.

A big pile of work... I've been fighting it pretty hard this week. >_>

I was writing a long post in my blog whn all of my programs crashed....



EDIT:  This happened AGAIN while trying to write it up for a second time.  That must mean that it's not meant for me to get it out right now.

Try writing it in Word or so. If the computer crashes there will be a backup that the program makes every few minutes or so.

My dysphoria's gone through the roof in the last few weeks. It scares me.

One of my friends just lost her job.  She is MTF, transitioned on the job ages ago and they fired her for some BS incident that happened two years ago.  People totally suck sometimes.

My mom is intoxicated and overly-sensitive today.

Edit:  My mom just came back from the store with a huge bottle of alcohol....

had a follow up with the hand doctor. things are healing well, but it will probably be two months until my hand is fully functional again. And the nerve damage (very minor) could take up to a year to heal. I sort of knew that about the 2 months, but a year??? sheesh.

It's been well over 2 years since my jaw surgery, which involved a sliding genioplasty, and I still occasionally got weird sensations in the area between my lower lip and chin up until 9 months or so ago. I wouldn't say that it's uncommon.

well bah humbag.

it's pretty damn uncomfortable at times. but it's a minor nerve and so there's not a lot to be done. he said take vitamin c. I start physical therapy next week so maybe the PT will have some ideas. at least it's only my ring finger that's really effected.

btw, I had to google genioplasty. I've learned my new thing today so now I can go to bed. Goodnight all.

My glasses fell off and broke on the way to the store and I'm not sure when I'll be able to replace them, then I ran into a parked car over by the park and the guy seemed rather angry at first because his girlfriend was startled and had bit through his lower lip

Then he called me a dumb blonde and started laughing and said he could buff the tire scuff out pretty easily, got back in his car and left
