Caysee, funny you should ask - we had a mini discussion yesterday along the lines of "we're so glad we're not forced to talk and we don't do any of those embarrassing icebreaker games". I'm sure I've seen people in previous meetings that didn't say one word, and they weren't put on the spot because of it. The thing is, after hearing others share their anxieties and stories for an hour+, most people come out of their shell anyway. It starts quiet but by the end everyone is talking and laughing.
We all sit in a circle in a library room with a table in the middle, if you're wondering. You don't go up to a podium or anything. Amy, the facilitator, is like the mom I wish I had.
Heya Sebastian - that makes two Keira's now in our circle (well, Keira / Kiara). Keira Rose has a certain ring to it...
Hi Zoe - welcome! Sorry, my memory is like a sieve - which one were you at the meeting? I was the dork that said I've known my parents my whole life
