hello! i'm SilverGirl, i was born a man but i feel like a girl inside, i'm 24 years old, and i accepted myself about 2 years ago, after i finished university, i have a major in computer science and i'm also a programmer, though i'm currently unemployed, i'm brazilian by the by :x
i came to the forum because i'm feeling lonely, one of my friends has lost contact with me after her parents found out about her (she is also trans, they took her internet away when they found out), and i miss her a lot :(, we talked a lot everyday and we referred to each other as sister, so i wanted to make more friends! you can call me Marisa or Marie since that is my name! :3
i haven't done much to transition yet, i have told my mother but she ignores it and thinks i'm just making it up to attract attention or something, in 1 year after i told her she hasn't asked any questions or even brought up the issue, i'm out to some internet friends but no one from the same city i live
i have very long hair, and i love doing my nails and other things :x, but horrible things like body hair and stuff get in the way....urgh...:x
i have been on therapy for about a year to be able to get HRT, and i'm really hating to have to keep going there because now it seems like torture (there is no informed consent in our country, so therapy with a psychiatrist and a psychologist is required), and i had only 1 visit to the psychiatrist so far, the next one is next week, but i'll have to wait 6 more months
i love the internet, computers, television, and i love video games and computer games a lot, mostly RPG (only ones i can play as a girl :x), and shooting games, i'm also interested in space, science, soccer, action movies, documentaries, firearms, religion (i'm atheist) and other things, pleased to meet you all! :x
