Ev

Greetings!  I am Evelyn Evan Eve.  But you can call me Ev for short.  As you read this understand I am a very symbolic person and have a tendancy to lean a little to the eccentric side of things.  I like to turn my life into a story, because I write for a living...and the pananche comes a little too naturally to me for the tastes of most people.  No matter what name I go by or what gender I may be, I am my own I AM: and as silly as this sounds to some, you could turn me into an elephant and I still would be the same on the inside.

I currently have to wear the skin of a man by the name of Randall Carson but I am working on changing that.  He has been an absolute gentelman to me the last 32 years but he cannot carry the burden any longer.  Poor fellow.  It is time he got some rest and I took on the world in his place.

I am a USAF 9/11 veteran, artist, fromer self-defense instructor, journalist, aspiring thespian, self-published author and biological father of three lovely children.  I am married to my high school sweetheart and she is fully supportive of the change, especially since she has been a lesbian married to what she viewed as a woman trapped in a man's body for 13 years.  I don't try and argue that one with her, since male and female mean little to me when it comes to love.  As I tell her: I can be anything you want me to be, honey!

I love to cook, clean, tell stories, read, walk, practice martial arts, collect toys and run.  Did I also mention I like to tell stories?

I have always viewed myself as androgynous in spirit, somewhat of a trigender, but find that the "softer sex" is more appealing to me physically.  To me, I find more aesthetic flexibility and mobility in the X chromosome than on the Y side of things.  One could argue that the X is our natural state, as we are all conceived female.  Being a supposed XXY myself, I found it to be a cruel irony that I had to have a penis when I was born.

Since androgyny means it doesn't matter what gender I am, from here it simply a matter of what asthetic base I want to work with.  I don't mind wearing dresses or man's clothes, going by the name of Ev, Evelyn, or Evan...but when it is time to slide on a skimpy little skirt as Evelyn I don't like tucking back the bits every time.  Breasts are easier to conceal if they are kept manageable, so it is easier to push them up real tight with a strap and slapping on a man's suit with a bulky jacket and slacks to create a masculine effect, than it is to jam back your manhood or shave all the time to look like a woman.  (This is what I mean by aesthetic base.)

I would rather use a woman's restroom stall than a man's urinal, or hide the fact I am wearing ladies undies all the time when going into the boys room.  Men can be so insecure and mean about it!  Annoying! >:(

During sex the manhood is always getting in the way...always jamming up into things rather uncomfortably...and while doing martial arts and other physical activity, I find it hard for me to achieve certain range of motion with the legs with the manlies getting in the way.  I have 33 inch legs and want to be able to use every last inch of them ever which way!   :D

That said: ladies, you are the embodiments of human sexuality and grace, and I wouldn't mind equipping myself with your hardware! ;)

Rather than say I am bisexual, I would like instead to say I am simply sexual.  Beauty is beauty: I don't care if you're bi, tri, straight, lesbian, man, woman, pan...if you're gorgeous you're gorgeous...and if you're available, I'm listening.   >:-)

Seriously though, I kid!  Perfect gentleperson here!

Now, on a respectful note:

I am new to this site and not too familiar with all the Trans-lingo, so if I mix up the termage I apologize.  I don't know how to post a pic to my profile just yet, but when I do I'll be sure to do so.

I may have come across as somewhat of a crazy b**** in this intro, but know I will do my best to remain respectful and be a gentleperson at all times while here.  I am your guest and I am in your house, so I will do my best to uphold common decency and courtsey while here.  I am an honest person to a fault: I like to tell stories, not make lies.  I spent the first 32 years of my life living one so I am not too keen on doing it anymore if I don't have to.

If you have any questions for me, just ask.  I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you very much for your time.

Best Wishes,

~Ev

A big warm welcome to the family Ev! I am so glad you found us because all of us need support at one time or another. Here you will learn first hand you are by no far means alone in this. You will learn first hand from REAL people what works or doesn't with tips and suggestions in between. Our family members range from still questioning to Post Op and everything in between. Feel free to rant, vent, learn, share good news (we like this a LOT) or just have some distracting fun and meet the rest of the family. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home! :)

A hearty welcome to you, Ev. I enjoyed reading your post. I'm somewhat eccentric myself. I like and am fascinated with people and activities outside the norm.

:)

Nice to meet you Ev!  Wow I think you are so cool!  Mainly because I am a USAF Vet, a parent, and martial artist as well.

I love how you describe yourself.  Even as an elephant you are still yourself.

I have a question for you.  Where can we find your books?? :D

You flatter me, hun.  Thank you.  And it is nice to meet you too.  :)

They are published under my "man" name and going through some extensive revisions.  The two in "reading shape" that I can recommend right now, as they are not going through the revision process, are:

Prismatic Greys and Introverted Projections
Something About Nothing

You can get these at Amazon or Barnes and Nobles online stores under my "old" name Randall W. Carson.

Prismatic Greys is a poetry book and seems to be my most popular, and most affordable.  It is also available as an eBook.  Something About Nothing is my memoirs and is a long read at 700 pages.

Book 0 is under revision and will be published under Evelyn Eve once my publisher is done fixing it up.

Hi Ev and welcome from the land down under.
Leaning towards the eccentric side of things is the only way to be.  There the people with the most interesting stories to tell.

I'm new here also but just had to comment on your wonderful intro.  That was fun to read and I can tell you are a writer by nature.

Welcome to the forums.

FWIW I also think you are beautiful!  I'm on the ftm spectrum and would be glad to trade parts with you!  :P
