He was asked to act as an envoy to the MultiMundo Coalition, which brings together community organizations and individuals working with GLBTs (gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people) from Montréal's ethnocultural communities. The coalition was officially founded on May 8, 2006. Several weeks before that, Tiago was approached by AlterHéros and agreed to become president of the organization, which runs a Website to combat homophobia through education and communication.
