I found a new favourite song.
Hey, I have been on T for half a year. Time flies.

I came out to my 4th friend. Apparently her best friend from highschool is FTM so she is familiar with the community and is completely behind my transition!

Of the 4 friends I've told, all 4 have responded amazingly!! Either I am very lucky, or very good at picking friends. Or both.

That's insane that you guessed that! Yes, it is an Unforgiven shirt.
Yea that song has very special meaning for me too. In fact, that entire Black album does especially "Harvester of Sorrow." Hey, for a 49 year old chick I still listen to some bangin tunes, lol!

Still more Doctors appointments and compliments. My pain management Doc didn't recognize me at first. And I saw him last month before going on vacation! All of these things left me very happy Friday. :icon_flower:

Two cool things happened today.

I just realized my hair is almost below my belly button in the front(it is fully passed in the back) and I realized I have a decent butt.
We're born naked, and the rest is drag.

I have decided its time to go back to work, 2 years off because of depression but now I'm feeling very positive about life and my transition.

Finally being told I was a well rounded member of theatre community in a show where the director hates me. Good start to the day.

Saw my old after school program teach from the 4th grade today while at a yard sale.  It was nice to catch up with her again.

Was out and about today helping a friend, but being gendered correctly by everyone even those that knew me well that never used to (men) was a welcome change.

I also saw my better half for a while today. Anytime I see her and the love showing on her face for me is a great day! :icon_flower: I think she's finally accepted being with me is being with a woman, and is happier about it. I can see it in her eyes every time she looks at me. What a wonderful feeling! :eusa_dance:

That really is exciting news and something to be beaming about!

Thinking I look/will one day look good and wanting to look good is happening to coincide on the same day.
(Although I am still likely to be very uncomfortable if people confuse my gender dysphoria with body dysmorphia again or assume I want to be attractive.)

Thanks Auntie Shan your so sweet. :icon_bunch: We did have a little spat over the phone this evening though but I know it's the frustration of she having to deal with her psychotic mother that's putting her in undue stress. Even little Taylur (she's 4) is so stressed out by her grandma's yelling for no reason she's wetting the bed -something she never does. I just wish there was more I could do. Financially I've helped out all I can til I'm paid again. At least she took my advice and is staying with a friend away from her mom's temporarily. We found a more permanent place closer to me which she and the baby should be into by tomorrow. :icon_flower:

You're doing the right thing by her, that's where the rubber meets the road in a real relationship regardless of whether or not it's hot or cold at this time.

Attending the Pycon programming conference as myself, it's an amazing community that's super supportive, there is even a talk tomorrow about being trans.
