So, I decided to attempt wearing a skirt for the first time in like 6 months. (I was too self-conscious the first time my trans friends tried to get me to wear one back in October.)

And, well... uh, yeah... :)

Look at those legs! Most certainly no reason to be self-conscious anymore :)
Cheers!

You look good! Just some constructive critiquing....It really helps "us" older women look more feminine if we dress according to our figure or are age (to a point). Skinny jeans are fine at any age, I have seen many women even in there 60's look great in them, but I would try to cover the midriff....not only for age reasons but also if you have a longer torso. Even a young cis girl will look inappropriate exposing her midriff if she has a longer torso. Just some advice....even though you did not ask for it. Sorry if I offend you, its not my intention.

Shelly,
At least here in California if you have a fit, flat tummy like Steph has there is nothing wrong with showing a peek of skin like she is, however! I'm sure by now we've all seen the "Shoppers of Wallmart" website and how that look can go terribly wrong ;)

Btw, Steph rocks those skinny jeans!! Super cute outfit
Just a "California Girl" trying to enjoy each sunny day

Damn if you don't just get prettier every time I see you lady! Hugs and Kisses ~Shan~
Hi Shan, thank you very much sweetie! I'm finally to the point where I can actually believe the people who compliment me on my looks, makeup or clothes, and only feel appreciative and not self conscious. Hugs, Mira

thanks but it seems not many people want to comment on my pics lol :(
Donna, I've felt the same way here many times, seeing how some other women seem to get lots of comments and I'd get relatively few. I've found that until I realized that I'm also a pretty woman, it wouldn't have mattered if all of Susan's Place was dedicated to me, I still wouldn't have felt pretty enough. You're very pretty, Donna, but that knowledge has to come from within. Hugs, Mira

First of all, thanks so much, everyone! I've been pretty shy about showing off my body, but this definitely helps to boost my confidence. Maybe I should consider forgoing the suit pants and buy an A-line skirt for my job interviews instead...

And now, to all of the other beautiful ladies on this thread:

Looks great! Those jeans look fantastic on you, I like your hat, and most importantly, of all, you completely rock it! I love the confidence and the poise and the "I'm totally going to take on the world! Watch out!" attitude. :)

I've been feeling down lately, really sad about my looks, i've been feeling ugly *ugh*...here's some pictures i took one of them is me in fake glasses.

Comments/Feedback Appreciated :).

Donna, I've said it before, and apparently I need to keep saying it until you start seeing the same beautiful woman that I do, but you look AMAZING! Such a wonderful round feminine face, gorgeous eyes, an unfathomably-great bust that I'm jealous of, and you look fantastic! Be confident. You're beautiful, and you have a beautiful smile, if only you'd let yourself be happy more. :)

Mira, you seriously get more and more beautiful every single time you post a picture. You are such an inspiration, and I'm so glad that you continue to share, and give hope to everyone here.

Love the outfit, and excellent work on the makeup, they both suit you very well. You're coming along nicely!

VERY cute, Barbie! Love the flower in your hair, love the cute skirt, the cute shoes, just... hell... every time you post a picture I wish I had 1/5 the fashion sense that you do.

A not so flattering picture of me. The girl with her arm around me was bending me down and the sun was in my face.

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.
