HRT Effect on Hand Muscle?

I know HRT does absolutely nothing in terms of influencing hand size in relation to actual bone, in that regard I'm a bit screwed as my hands are massive with bone.  My fingers aren't particularly thick, just long (and knobby), and I have wide palms and big knuckles - just big hand bones.  I've got a decent amount of hand muscle as well it seems, you know, in the sections of the palm that gets muscle.  When I push down I can see that there is definitely a little room to move as far as muscle goes.

Anyway, has anyone gotten any noticeable hand muscle loss in the padded area of your hands?

Thanks

Much to my dismay, yes. :-\

Arthritis might also be involved, but I find playing the guitar much more painful.

A little bit. The backs of my hands are where I really notice it. They've gotten thinner and more sinewey. The palms, they have gotten a bit slimmer, but they mostly look the same to my eyes.

Pretty much anywhere on the body that's made of muscle, HRT will reduce it to at least some degree. I definitely had a lengthy period at the beginning of HRT where I had a hard time doing my job as a poker dealer because my hands hurt so much at the end of the day, due to muscle atrophy.

My father does a lot of gardening, and a friend has a hobby farm so likewise uses his hands a lot - the both of them have massive hands. Way bigger than mine and I'm taller than them both. I don't do any gardening or manual exertion with my hands, never really have. HRT will have some effect for sure but lay off the manual labour. :)

I was hoping it can thin out/slenderize the fingers,, mine are kind of stubby, like snausages.. if they get a bit thinner, that's be one more thing to add to my "be happy about" list.
