Hello everyone,

I've been lurking here for a few months, consuming the great information, and felt it was time to become a little more involved.

A little about me. I'm a 50ish maybe mtf(still figuring it all out). I came out to my wife of over 30 years a month ago, and she was completely understanding and supportive. I was so relieved after I told her and she started asking questions that I had been asking myself, even though I didn't have all the answers. She had a few "oh yea" moments when we talked about reasons for some of the destructive things I've done.
Due to my present career situation, it would be very difficult to move too fast, so there's plenty of time to work through my messed up head. I need to find a good therapist in my area to help me work through some of my questions.

I'm so glad this community is here.

Hugs to all  :icon_hug:

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Shannon, welcome, Sis..  A great many have been where you are now, myself included, same 30yrs, but wife non-supportive.. Understands (now) but still not supportive.  You are in a very good position, I hope  yours remains with you!

There are a lot of girls here with some terrific advice, lean on them, they can help!

Thanks for the welcome and hugs Jessica.

I wish I could get her to use a computer at all. It took me years to get her to use a Kindle.  :D

Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.
