Going for a hike and having no one on top of a mountain overlook to bother me while I soaked in the fresh morning air and meditated. :) Best moment of my day so far!

I'm going to see Dream Theater tonight!  I'm right up front on John Petrucci's side.  I've met him twice, and he knows who my wife and I are, as he's acknowledged us more than once (we've been regulars at shows since 1993).  Wait 'til he gets a load of me now!

I'm jealous. I loooove Dream Theater. They are right there in my top ten with Nightwish, Epica, Therion, Old Rush, Hammerfall, Evanescence, Deliverance, Metallica, and Queensryche (I know Jeff Tate and the guys, haven't seen them in years though). I'm very very jealous of you Jill, lol!!!!. Seriously hope you have a great time, and, let us know how it goes.

I'm going to see Dream Theater tonight!...

My son loves that band!...

Gods I feel old.

;D

But I have some of their albums on my smartphone which I also use as an iPod.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

My little veggie garden is planted. Sweet corn, okra, peas, tomatoes, cantaloupe, squash, watermellons, radishs, cucumbers, peppers. I may ad more later. It was a fun day in the garden as a normal woman with pink toe nails, etc.... I wore gloves & did not break a nail, yea.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

I was looking in the mirror a moment ago and actually saw the beginning traces of cleavage with no bra on, and my arms at my side. Happy changes!! :icon_flower:

John Petrucci is sort of a local celebrity as are most of Dream Theater for me.  My first guitar instructor was actually taught by him before he went to Berklee over in Boston.  I'll never forget when he introduced me to their music and taught me under a glass moon's solo.  His playing has had a huge influence on me and I'll never forget the hours I've spent messing up all of his solos.  I almost went to Berklee myself, so I could become as great of a musician as all the members of Dream Theater.

You must report on how he reacts.  I'd be really sad if a musician that I admire so much were to end up being transphobic.  I'd have to change my screen name. :(

Sorry for not shutting up, but this is like my all time favorite band (well tied with other's like Bad Religion which changed my life in a whole different way).

I suspected your screen name was a DT reference!

Yes, I love that band.  I lost count of how many times I've seen them.  I never tried playing DT's songs for real very much.  It just sets me up for *metal voice* DISAPPOINTMENT.  Oh well, what's more metal than disappointment, right?  Carpal tunnel, maybe...  I had to stop playing seriously after 6 hours of practice a day made my fingers go numb.  Maybe I'll get that surgery some day, but I have bigger fish to fry right now.

Anyway, he didn't seem like an a*hole at all.  Portnoy... meh, not so much.  I can see why they're happier without him. I actually saw John Myung smiling at the last two shows I went to.

Myung actually shows emotion! I suspect that's cause Portnoy is gone now, lol.  Still I sort of miss him even if he was hard to take at times; although, I love Mike Mangini.  He's so talented and down to earth.

Yeah, I got so pissed one day trying to learn Stream of Conscious that I broke down in tears for like a half an hour, lol.  I still can't play it all the way, or most DT songs for that matter.  And yeah, I've gotten tendonitis a few times and it sucks.  It got to the point that I couldn't hold a tv remote without extreme pain.  It took me 2 years off of playing before I could seriously play again and even then I started mainly messing with Classical guitar before trying an electric again.

Anyway, always nice to see another Dream Theater fan, especially a female one.  Sometimes I feel so lonely in that regard.

Cindy, That is so cool. A girl friend that loves her garden. We are sisters. I love to grow a garden & roses, other nice plants, etc...
Mine went OK today but I forgot carrots & a few other veggies. The local garden place has several women that I'm good friends with. They help a lot. Sorry about your winter. It's finally spring here. I'm so glad. It was a very cold long winter, even down to 5 degrees once.

Please have a great day GF.

My wife, while maintaining she really, really, really doesn't want me to transition as there is a lot about my maleness she likes, and feels she can not stay married to a woman, asked me last night if I did transition and end the marriage could we be best friends.  I said yes and cried.  :)

It's not sad.  It means that she loves me enough that she would want me to stay in her life as much as I could without being her husband if I can't find a balance.  It was tears of joy.

Got my virtual FFS photos back from Alaxandra at http://www.virtualffs.co.uk

Seems the only real concern is my brow! Hopefully I can share all the photos with you girls tomorrow with the recommendations.

So I just got back from the Dream Theater show.  John Petrucci acknowledged the presence of my wife but not me.  I'm pretty sure he had no effing clue what the hell happened.  It's a pass for sure.  I'll take it.  He probably thought I was the date of the guy next to me.  It's like hey, dude, I was the one you spent hours getting drunk with many years ago...
