What she wants, says O'Donnabhain, is fair and equal treatment: not to be discriminated against because she is transgender.

Says O'Donnabhain, "I'm not asking for any more than any other person is entitled to."

I suspect that she will prevail.

With the current administration, I doubt that she will.
