Hey hi there,

I'm nearly 6 months on T and have gone up one shoe size. My feet are the same length but they have got wider and so I grew out of my trainers. Just bought a new pair and they are a size up. Oh I'm nearly 40, so it's not because I'm young and haven't stopped growing.

I'm just wondering for anyone else here that found their feet grew (particularly if you were definitely past growing when starting T) how much did they grow and how long did it take to reach their maximum?

just wondering if I have more to come :D

I'm pretty sure mine went up a half size or size...I didn't pay that much attention but I more often need a 7.5 or 8 now when before it was always 7. 2 years in so I don't think it's going to change any more than that for me.

Cool, thanks Birkin

Mine got bigger in the first half year or so I was on T. I used to wear an 8 or 8.5 and now I'm a 9. After that initial growth they didn't get any bigger though. I gained a bit of weight in that same time period, so it was probably due that. Also an increase of muscle in your feet might have something to do with it.

I went up by about 1 full size

Just as a side note: I also grew taller, so I don't think it was due to just added muscle/weight gain for me.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I'm in my early forties and I've gone from a 7 to a comfortable 8.

Nope.  Mine didn't change whatsoever, but I'm older than a lot of you I'm sure.

Not at all. I've been on T a year. Not looking forward to it if I do. I have to wear expensive shoes due to planar faciaitis. They are women's shoes, they just don't scream women's shoes. Don't think I've been misgendered due to them and I understand men do buy them.

I used to wear 7.5 to 8, now i'm 9 in most, some 9.5 :O Just got new 9s, and my toes feel tight a month or two later.
This only happened after a year on T

No change for me. Well, maybe a little wider; nothing to write home about. Already a big enough size that I don't really care anyway.

Wow it's interesting to hear how varied this is. Thanks for the replies :)

I wore a 5 in mens pre T, now I'm a 6.5 or a 7 and I'm just over 2 years on T.

I'm a 7 in men shoes..just started T today so I actually do hope mine grow or something. I hate being 7 in men because it's hard to find that size sometimes.

Hey congrats on starting T!!!!! :)

A size 7 is pretty good for a trans guy. I'm lucky that's where I started out so can't grumble, but yes it would be great to go up more. I just bought size 8.

Well, I fit a 7 on, they're a little big but not enough to feel discomfort. I hate going to a kid's size to get shoes so I deal with it.
