And now for some results!  With a little makeup to cover up the bruising, and a well chosen angle to minimize the look of the swelling, you can really see how the new look is stating to come together.

So far, I'm very happy with what I see:

Photo from today on the left, photo with similar pose from about a month ago on the right. (Before any surgery)

Everything is looking SO fantastic Haley!

And I couldn't believe how clean the trach shave incision was already healing. I could hardly believe my eyes.

Your nose looks awesome! Excellent results, especially for just a week out.

WOW. You have already amazing results. I think the chick implants were a bingo in your case. Dr Mayer keeps on surprising me every time a see a new patient of his. I now regret i didn't go to him for my initial FFS.

Such a fun day. It was so great to meet you Haley! I'm so glad we got to see each other :)

I am 8 hours away from surgery #2 with Mayer (rhinoplasty). Drinking gobs and gobs of water in preparation- per the request of the anesthesiologist. I wonder how much sleep I will actually get tonight... probably not much!

Wish me luck!

Jenny best of luck! Your in great hands with Dr. Mayer.

Hey Girl!!

Next Wednesday for me and Dr Z....  It's all set.

Hugs!!

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

A little levity to lessen the stress of recovery, it's pretty heavy business for you girls I have to applaud you all!

Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone!!! I'm still in and out of half conscious today, it feels like there is a small section of my brain that still hasn't woken up from anesthesia yet ;)

I was trying to cook some food with my roommate (I'm feeling rather excellent overall) but had to step away because I kept drifting somewhere else... Not exactly a good time to operate an oven!

Here is the offending profile shot right before surgery.

And the after (can't really see it yet tho)

Yeah seriously, I wanna see said after photos too :D :D

Okay went in to the office today to have the packing stuff that he placed in my nostrils removed. Apparently I had been living with a horribly deviated septum for my whole life. So, when this is all said & done I should be able to breathe a million times better. I like the sound of that!

I guess I probably could have gotten insurance to cover it, but oh well. Glad to be done!

Today I am feeling really good, energy levels are a bit low but that is to be expected after general anesthesia. I have absolutely zero pain which shocks me. I haven't even taken tylenol today.
