I have been on spiro for about three months and the strangest thing happened.  My dysphoria suddenly reduced a lot.  Could it be the anti androgen affect kicking in? I wasn't expecting this to happen.  What will this mean if I start on estrogen.  Maybe some of others have experienced this?

Some claim it does, the reduction of free androgens floating around doing their thing has effects on the brain.  But most likely its the knowledge that you are doing something to transition that is making you feel more at ease.

I can witness on my body: free androgens are a cause of dysphoria. But in my case, when I was pre-op,
Spiro didn't do anything for that, I needed to start CPA. Now also that I'm post op since 12 years they
changed my HRT, some residual T (adrenal I think) kicked in again, and I started feeling dysphoric again.
Simply doctors won't believe such things because they don't experience them, period.

Might be the lower testosterone, Spiro also reduces blood pressure - who knows hat that might do to your state of mind! I know I've felt a lot calmer on HRT, Spiro included!
