O_o I just I gotta share. I really do. I mean we all need to share the good news sometimes, right?

So like yesterday my girlfriend and I were hanging out with our friends Miranda and Steve (who is also a couple) and everytime Airyn and Miranda were doing girly things like painting their nails they shooed me and Steve away like, "GO DO BOY THINGS" which made me ridiculously happy... And it felt so right. Like everytime I was referred to as boyfriend by Airyn or Miranda I was just like =DD

So I mean that was awesome. Yesterday way awesome.

Then today I was at work (I work at Taco Bell), and I was handing out an order to a customer and he was like, "THANK YOU SIR" and walked off. That.. that REALLY made my day. Like seriously. It's one thing to hear it from people who just know I'm trans and stuff so like despite the still awkwardly female appearance and voice (Though that's changing as we speak), to hear a random stranger call me sir was like fantastic. Like I felt like maybe I'm starting to actually pass as male and that's freaking awesome.

K.. share time is over on my part. Anyone else had awesomeness like this recently? =D

I'll share mine as well.

Finally sold my house last month but it came at a bad time for me. Have to be out by the 28th of April which sucks because it is so close to the end of the school semester meaning lotsa school work due + job= very little time to be able to look for a place. Oh and the fact that I'm depressed and finding a new place seems like such a huge task and pointless because I thought was hopeless that I could didn't help either.

My boss was asking bout it last friday with me, seeing if I found a place or was looking since the deadline was coming up soon and a co-worker overheard part of our convo. She said I'll help you look, I'm sure we can find you a place, and after work that day she went to a few places by herself and got me some apps to fill out over the weekend. On monday she met up with me and dragged me to a couple of places with her three young kids with her.

Today I only worked a half day so that I could go to a few places as well. My boss called up another place for me and made me go there and get an app to fill out then made me do it at work. Then she made me go turn it in afterwards.

Later in the day I got two phone calls, one from the place my co-worker made me go and one from the place my boss sent me to today. I was approved at both  :o . All thats left now is to decide which I want and then pack and go ofc.

If it wasn't for my boss and co-worker pushing and helping me, then well idk what would've happened to me next week. I guess I need  to thank them both, especially my co-worker, whom I not even really friends with, only work colleges with, because she took the time and effort on her own time to help me out so much with this.

Went to a dinner at my church. After the meal, despite the fact that it is a very progressive church (about as progressive as there is), the men went and put away the tables and chairs, while the women stayed in the kitchen washing the dishes and pots and pans. I of course went with them. It felt so natural to be with them. They were friendly and accepting and I felt like I fit right in and was part of the team.

There's no way any of my cis friends could possibly understand why this was such a special moment.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Glad to hear you have such supportive co-workers. Like that is so awesome of them to help you out when you needed it most. Making sure you got a place to live and all that good stuff =D

Co-workers like that just makes life great and so much easier on the job.

xD Ya it's still fresh to me too like... I came out as trans a year ago and started hormones two and a half months ago. Like most of my friends use male pronouns for me, some of them still slip up (which I forgive them for after I correct them), but then it's like I rarely hear it from random strangers so when I did yesterday it was the best

Lara the Lover and the Fighter

So, Im in the doctors office with my kid and this other kid came to play with my son.  Actually all the kids came to play. Anyway, one of the kids was talking about trains and things like that.  My son (who is 3) ran out of answers for him and his questions so he looks at me and asks about trains and 18 wheel trucks.  So I give him a good answer.  The boy looks at me with this weird face and asks, "Why don't you talk like a girl?"  He totally thought I was female!  HAH!

I don't pass but I suppose I'm getting there.  ;D

Aww, I'm glad it's going well Kade!

Well, I guess mine would be getting gendered as female over the phone at work.  It's happened a handfull of times the past month without me even trying.  Had I been trying, it would have been cool but expected.  Without trying, it feels awesome even if a bit weird.

actually, i have had some awesomeness lately! usually it doesn't cross my mind because i pass pre-t and i'm stealth at school so that whole "people view me as male!!" thing kind of passed (i can't wait to start t and have more awesome moments from those changes though) but on my birthday, i got nothing but he/him and my preferred name used. my family slips up sometimes even when they try so hard not to and correct themselves but on my birthday they didn't which made me really happy. my aunt even referred to me as the "birthday boy" so that made me pretty happy because she seems to be having the most trouble atm.

glad you all have had such great things happen lately!!

Get used to it.  It will happen more and more frequently.  On the flip side, I've been ecsctatic ever since I got pegged for a chick the vast majority of the time.  Anyway, I'm a big fan of your posts and congrats.  I love seeing you happy. Enjoy!

Just a little passing tip, for your age and true gender the appropriate response was, "yeah, thanks dude, whatever," to be followed up with a clueless, "what? You can call chicks dude!"  ;)

Congratulations, you're on your way! You look more like a guy in your picture than my one trans client does, but he's disgustingly boyish otherwise. Have to get him to start using deodorant instead of just drowning himself in Axe.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

lol you should hear how I talk in person. It's so much more... aggressive? I dunno if that's even the right word for it. Online I tend to have more finesse rofl

i'm down with fever these days so almost nothing is happening. but about 2 weeks back we celebrated our traditional new year and i sent a new year wish to all my contacts in the phone. it included something about wishes from the endocardium of my heart. one of my crushes (dont take that wrong- i dont have like 100+ crushes, only a handful) replied 'good boy, i see you've done your homework'. i was like over the moon. she doesn't even know i'm trans, or that i like being called a boy cos i still present as female.
okay i know i already shared this story somewhere else in the forum but good news is supposed to be shared right?
