I absolutely don't understand this system what so ever. I have been trying my ass off to get a loan, a 6000 usd loan. But non of the banks near me, or any of the surgical financing companies will  grant me the loan under "Lack of established credit" How the hell are you supposed to build credit when no one will let you even try!? Im totally stumped. I started the 3 year count down to when I do a DIYS penectomy. I refuse to turn 30 and have male parts. Im at my wits end.

Start out by getting one of the paid credit cards.  Apply (everyone gets them) put $100 in it.  Use it and make payments, this will start your credit history.

Wish it was that easy, all the banks around me want me to put 500 in a savings account first, then another 300 minimum on on of those cards.  If I had 800 laying around to do that I gladly would.

I just cant for the life of me figure out why they wont give me the loan, I can easily make the 230 dollar a month payments they assessed me for on the loan I wanted.

First off, do not make the mistake many other people and I have made. If you have no credit, do not let anyone run a credit check unless you are certain you will qualify for some type of financing. Second, If you did make a lot of credit inquires like I did, a loan might be the only route besides a secure credit card. Something like a car loan. Although a car loan will only tie you down and with no credit you will only score a high interest rate of 14% or higher. you could always try a store card like a Khols (Assuming that there's one near you) charge card or something but once again do not apply for many cards or loans.

Try a different bank. Honestly, most banks around here won't give out loans very easily... but there is one that will give out loans -very- easily, with good interest amounts.

And how they're in a hurry to complicate their mind
By chasing after money and dreams that can't come true
I'm glad that we are different, we've better things to do
May others plan their future, I'm busy lovin' you "

Don't apply for any more loans for a while.

If it's one good thing that came out of marriage, other than my son, it's that my wife taught me how to get and keep a great credit score.

Rule 1
The only quick way to get a good score is to marry it. Seriously my score jumped up and my wife's dropped down when we got married.

Rule 2
Don't apply for a loan unless you are going to buy something with it soonish. Like within a month or two.

Rule 3
Like the others have said start small. Try a credit union rather than a bank and let them help guide you. Don't appear desperate over it. Ask what you need to do before applying and read everything and then have someone else read it because you want a good interest rate but when you start it all looks crappy.

Rule 4
Revolving Credit: keep it small and don't let them give you a bigger limit than what you can pay off.

Rule 5
Loans- mortgages, car loans, etc they help your credit score they are the bread and butter of your score. Even if someone helps by consigning.

Rule 6
Stay at the same job for years if you can. And never quit without having another job to go to. Doesn't directly affect your score but periods of unemployment or a string of short term jobs don't make credit suppliers happy to see you regardless of how cute you are.

Tips:
If you dad or mom or someone else will help you maybe cosign on something. Ask the credit union/bank about that. And relax this will happen.

Teela you can do this. I know you can. I had a no score before as a twenty something too and within 2 years I bought a house, paid off a cara d had good credit (730 when I got married). That's enough to get you a good loan with low interest for everything that you need.
