In a heart beat. I have been planing on getting srs soon though. I hope my insurance covers it.

I selected "yes, without a doubt" but then I realized that I actually do have some reservations. I have a surgeon already, but if I had to pick someone else, I'd hunt for someone who would use the same method he is using. I don't want the scars under the chest.

That would be nice. It would sure feel normal to just have a vagina & smooth lower body. I sure hope for decent depth because I love being with men & so want a hard man inside my vagina. Giving oral & receiving anal sex feel good however a 100% normal body would just be soooo nice to enjoy.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

I would, I wouldn't want it all done in a day, I'd go slow, I'd also want it to be done in secret....  ???

I'd want to try and schedule for a more optimal time (maybe in a month?) but I don't think I'd have much hesitation.

I wish surgery was tomorrow. I'm so ready for a normal life. I can't wait to have a normal depth vagina, heal up & enjoy life completley.

I guess it would depend on the surgeon. If I got to choose the surgeon though, you're damn right I would do it. Get this damn thing off me!!!!

I'm not on HRT yet but I don't see any risk to that, would there be?

Sure... as long as I get to pick the surgery. Top surgery, in a heartbeat -- I have reservations about bottom surgery, mainly because of my age: I know I don't heal as fast as I used to, and the rate of complications is pretty high, even with meta. Phalloplasty... just no. I don't want the scarring. And as far as meta goes, I'm nowhere near ready for it "down there," anyway.

And nothing is really free... I'd hate to get to the hospital and have them say, "Oh, by the way, we're also going to take one of your kidneys."   :o (Actually, I might go for that, but I'd have to think about it.)

Haha~ Took the words right out of my mouth.

Really, I'm not sure how healthy it would be, given that I'm not even on hormones yet, but there would still be zero hesitation on my part. This is 100% something I want, something I've wished for since what feels like forever, and regardless of whatever hormonal issues it might cause to get it that soon, if I said no, the cost of having to pay for it myself later would mean that there would be a huge possibility of it never happening at all.

I still wouldn't like anything else about my body, but at least I'd feel happy when I looked down.

well I would say yes but it's not enough time for me to fly to thailand and have the surgery plus I don't have the passport yet. altho you have to stop hormones for 2 weeks before you can have the surgery.

Yes to top surgery. No to bottom but only because I'm not happy with any of the results it gives at this time. I feel there is more wiggle room for scientific advances that haven't been implemented to patients yet that I personally would prefer instead.
