Day of the prom yesterday, for me, hooray! Lifetime dream met, as I got to be all dressed up, a maincure, pedicure, a nice dress, and all made up for the special day...

Before getting on the dress and makeup, though after hair styling...

And, last but not least, look what happened while there! Prom Queen! Not to mention, it was being filmed all for the documentary I was in! I actually know the king, too, he's the reason I went, and who I went with! A pair of life's dreams came true...just can't believe it all happened. Never thought I'd get to do a prom because of this terrible body, let alone prom queen, a secret wish forever of mine, because I'm not pretty enough, popular enough, or just, well, anything that a prom queen usually is...but I think this let me know, even if I don't see it all the time, others DO, and apparently, I do look fabulous, I got told it a million times last night.

Some amazing things are going to be happening to me because of this, as this prom had some pretty up there connections. Sooo happy, though I did lose my voice and ears for today. Worth it!

Oh god, how sweet, how look gorgeous in that dress!

Huge congrats on the evening, sounds like a dream come true and I'm so happy for you.

Yes. Your eyes look great together with your lips.
I also try hard to learn wearing eyeliner and mascara.

Androgynous_Machine, first thing I noticed are your PJ's  I myself lounge in pj's almost all day when I am at home. Love the nails and the bracelets, so sad I can't do my nails. They are to brittle and my job is too rough to bother doing them. You're looking great

Barbie, there are endless videos to help you with eyeliner and eyeshadow on YouTube. Best to find out what kind of eye shape you have and go from there.


Here are a few from Friday. Tried a slightly different contouring & highlighting for my makeup. Oh yeah... also henna'd my hair last week & I really like the color I got! Henna seems to be a bit more of a gamble than commercial dyeing at home. Also got my nose piercing, love it so much! Oh gosh.. someone teach me how to resize these for the forums...

I had extensions on. My real hair Is really short, but I'm finally letting mines grow out.The extensions made me look too Asian.
