Funny story: When I went to my first meeting with an LGBT support group, I introduced myself as "Awkward" in an attempt to break the ice. I also figured since I was nervous and worried I'd say something stupid, why not do it on purpose? Worked out well for me, they all got quite chill with me pretty quick.
On to serious introductions, yes? I'm Connor. I am currently out to my parents, closer family members, and my closest friends. Everyone else is slowly but surely catching on and I'm just sort of going with it. I've been out for a little over a month, planning to go to formal therapy in the summer, and hopefully start on the path toward hormones and potentially surgery in the future, depending on my feelings about it when the time comes. So that's the basics and I'm looking forward to becoming more active in this particular community.
