Okay so today I was walking around the mall waiting for my friends, we had planned to go for a movie. I decided not to wear anything girly I tried experimenting around a little, y'know.. that I may be a girl but ill still kick your ass if you mess with me look? I wore jeans ( obviously girl ones ), a black t-shirt, my cycling team sweater which looks like a jacket but I'm still not sure whats it called. And my cap. So as I was walking I happened to pass by my cycling coach which I haven't seen since I started transitioning, he was sitting down at Secret Recipe, so I went okay be cool he wont notice... Then he called out... 'hey'
Me: *ignores him and tries to walk away*
Him: hey you, yeah the girl wearing my top cyclists jacket, how did you get that, did he give it to you?
Me: *wanted to slap my forehead because I just remembered about my male name on the back of thee jacket* Ummm yeah I borrowed it some time ago, Im sorry Ill return it if you want me to..
Him: Haha no its fine I was just checking. So you know Ethan huh?
Me: Yeeahh...
Him: I haven't seen him in a really long time could you tell him I said hi for me the next time you see him?
Me: Sure Ill do that.. Bye coach!
Him: See ya around champ.
Me: *continues walking, stops and thinks* Wait did he just call me champ? *turns around* I'm sorry coach but you called me champ?
Him: Yeah I did what sort of person do you think I am?
Me: Uhm I'm sorry.
Him: No, don't be I know my champ when I see him.. Its been a long time hasn't it?
Me: OMG how did you know?
Him: One, you have that habit of fidgeting around with your fingers when your feeling queasy, two.. you're the only one that calls me coach.. others call me sir but you still called me coach. Just look at you I mean you don't even look like what you used to.
Me: Yeah Im sure you heard news.
Him: Yeah but I thought it was just some crazy rumor just to tarnish your reputation in my club.
Me: I miss you coach.
Him: Same here I guess you better get a move on ill talk to you later and uh what do people call you now?
Me: Evelyn.
Him: Evelyn eh? Nice name, I'm proud of you.
Me: For?
Him: Being yourself and fighting for what you want till you got there.
Me: Aww thanks coach! *walks away feeling super great*
