black binder and summer?

Hi guys,
I was thinking, many times I have heard that black binders are not good for hot summer days,
I understand that if you wear black you get hotter, but you wear your binder under your clothes so its not directly exposed to the sun..  so technically you shoundnt get hotter because of the binder, right? or?

That is logical to me, but I personally purchased only white binders just in case (oh, and my favorite color is black, btw)!

I used both colours for years and found zero difference between black and white in regards to being hotter in summer.  That was my personal experience, though.

It might make a difference if your shirts are at all translucent. I don't know I want to see an experiment here. LOL

Black is a hotter colour because in a way black has all the colours in it so more light wavelengths are absorbed whereas something like white has no colours in it so light wavelengths are reflected more.  Because it's under another shirt, that shirt is what will be doing the absorbing or reflecting, so in theory, there should be no difference in how hot you feel.

Also bear in mind, in summer it's hotter - therefore, more sweat. White binders can have obvious sweat stains compared to black binders.
