i don't know if i did it 100% correctly :C

like did what a lot of videos on youtube did as far as how to give the shot. used prep pads, found a good spot on my leg.

thing is my syringes look like turkey basters and i wonder if i put any air bubbles in me once i did it :C

there also wasn't any blood when i did it... stuck the needle in squeezed out the stuff and then pulled it out and nothing came out. no extra T no blood. does that mean i did it right? maybe im just wierded out cuz i did it to myself?

Intramuscular injections rarely leave "bleeders".  They are also more tolerant of gas bubbles (don't make a habit of it though).

so they don't beleed then?

well ok my doctor just sucks at giving them then XD she pretty much made me bleed every time, maybe it was hte location since i used to get em in the butt.

but thats good to know. thank you.

They can bleed a little, depends on the size of the needle and the way you stabbed it. When you draw the T into the needle, you'll see if there's air in there or not. Squeeze the plunger until you see a little T come out the needle. If there is a large air bubble and then some annoying tiny little air bubble balls, flick the syringe until the smaller bubbles go away, then squeeze the big air bubble out.

JamesG said "rarely leave bleeders", not never.  Injections don't always bleed, but they don't never bleed.

Sometimes you'll get bleeding if you pass though a vein on the way through to the muscle.  And since you're injecting intramuscular, a little air won't kill you, though it might be uncomfortable so like JamesG said, don't make it a habit.

If you didn't have any bleeding or pain(other than normal, of course) and no site swelling you probably did it just fine.  IM injections are really easy to give with practice.

I bleed almost every time, but only a tiny bit.

I bleed about 90% of the time. I was worried when I had no blood the first time, but I had just started using longer needles and I got the injection in deeper. When I do bleed, it's never very much. I have never had leaking of T after I inject, but I always leave the needle in after I finish for about ten seconds.

So i lived XD

yeah my needles are 1.5 inches long so it get plenty deep.

my leg was a little sore after i think cuz the air like someone mentioned. I'll keep the tips in mind for next week.

Air bubbles are dangerous if you inject them into your bloodstream, but if air bubbles got in there, testosterone would as well, and if that happens, you will feel strange and start coughing almost immediately (most of the time). You need to look closely at the oil to make sure no bubbles are in it before you inject, especially if you don't aspirate.

Don't worry about air bubbles. They're only dangerous in large amounts in the blood stream. Yes, that's right, even air bubbles in veins won't kill you. It's obviously safer not to experiment with this information, but it takes around 100 mls of air to potentially cause problems! For me, I actually leave a little air at the top of the syringe to propagate the T into the muscle so I don't lose any. This is a perfectly safe conservation method. I'm not saying one has to do that but I purposefully shoot air in after my T and never had problems, so don't worry about air bubbles for IM shots.

I rarely bleed much myself so that's perfectly fine. You don't want T coming out! Lol
