So i was thinking of growing my hair and getting extensions before i start HRT seeing as hair my hair growth would be stunted. So the question becomes now since my hair wont grow fast enough after i start, should i get extensions or wear a wig? which one would be more natural for my transition. Thnx 

First I had a wig but now I have extensions and I can live like it would be my natural. If you can afford it go for extensions and take real hair not artificial hair. I won so much life quality and I do sports, swimming....with a wig this is no fun.

i can get real hair from my mother at a faction of the cost. i just want that natural look to go with my baby face. happy my face never changed so i can get away with the feminine look with the surgery 

I used to like the idea of wigs but I am starting to feel slightly off when I wear them. By off I mean it's feels too much like a costume to me. (Although that can be fun too) I much prefer my real hair. I've grown it out but I really need to look into extensions. Any suggestions on where to look and what to look for?

real hair extensions but they can go up to more then 100 bucks per bunch. try to go to a hair store and fine hair take looks close to what your natural hair color is to save on money if your going for synthetic. i'm going for synthetic but my mother sells real hair and i can get a decent discount from her lol

i even thought my extensions would look cute with my glasses once i put them in xD any thoughts. still getting my contacts though

i meant to say without surgery xD i'm going synthetic becuz my hair is jet black lol. my hair grows 2 inches every 2 weeks. and my mother wears extensions xD not much for me to take there xD

Extensions are expensive expect to pay at least 5 to 600 dollars, I've always had long hair mine is naturally down to my boobs but I get extensions every so often that go to my butt

depends. real hair wings and extensions usually come from people donating their hair

So there aren't like creepy factories where people just shave all the hair off peoples head and body and... Stuff....... Thats my main fear, in china or some where factories like that.

blue, no, there arent any creepy factors. all real wigs and extensions are given, not taken. calm down a bit hun and relax lol.

Phew, good, good...... Do they get paid for it though? I would wanna get paid for donating my hair.

no idea. usually the hair is given to child with leukemia and other illnesses that needs chemotherapy and causes hair loss

i think you get paid if you sell to salon/wig shops

my sister just donated her hair to cancer foundation .. so no pay in this case

Now my only concern is figuring out if my hair is long enough to put my extensions in. I can have my twin sister put them but i dont know if my hair is lomg enough yet
