Hi everyone!

I'm biologically male, and currently working out what else I am.

I've been interested in dressing female for ages, and wishing I'd worked out how curious about the other aspects of being female I'd be a decade ago. I've got no idea if I'm just into feeling pretty, or if I'm female inside.

As a guy, I'm straight (and married). But, my idea of attractiveness is femininity, and when I'm dressed in girly things, I feel better about myself.

I currently wear female underwear a lot (more pink and lace than most of my female friends), and with the support of a great group of friends, I'm even spending one night every week wearing shorts or dresses it off the house - only to one of their houses, but it's a start.

I much prefer the company of girls, and feel a bit uncomfortable if there are too many guys around.  luckily, I'm the only guy (if I am one...) in my social circle.

I am not here to judge who you are. I was kinda confused just like you. But I think I would be happier to see myself as female. I am now angry as a man. I am transitioning in the 5th month now.

Not everyone fits neatly into one category or another, so don't feel the need to classify yourself. Gender is often not simply a binary all-or-nothing situation. Julia is spot on, take your time. You're safe here, and there's no hurry to it. You are who you are and that's greatness.

I had a really good discussion with my wife last night, sorting out how things are going. She's being really supportive, and seems to be okay with my trying things to find out who I am. She'd much prefer it not being a full time thing (but then, I'm not sure I'd ever be ready for full time anyway).

I think, at this stage, I may just fit into the "screw your gender binary" category.

I'm not planning on changing my anatomical sex, I think,  but the ability to be a girl now and then fills me with all sorts of excitement.

I'm in the same boat with you. Had my on and off days but it really came to light when i literally broke down and couldnt take it anymore. it was like a do or die situation for me and even at this moment my mind and body are fighting over dominance. so cheer up and press forward

My plan at the moment is take it gradually towards trying to pass for female, and just kind of go with what feels right at each step. Mandy will see the light of day before too long!

whoop. its just umiko is still trapped -.- my therapist thinks i'm just a ->-bleeped-<-, but its clearly obvious i'm not. i mean its not even the clothes, its the very fact i'm fighting to be free but i guess thats part of the process. sometimes i wonder why i took to long to speak up. blah lol

Hi Amanda.... go for it....!  Non-binary is as cool a choice as any   

If you want to be able to move between genders, one of the things that you can do that's relatively consequence-free is get rid of facial hair, permanently.  It hurts like hell, and will take at least 3-6 months before you see a useful result, but it makes passing sooooo much easier!!   And most people won't realise that the boy no longer has any stubble (unless of course you have a permanent blue chin, lol).
