Hey, I hope all is well! I've ha laser about 6 times now and noticed little effect on my chin area until last go around. I was curious if I should switch to electrolysis to get rid of the rest? I have lost almost all of my side burns and lip area start to seem patchy. I was wondering if any one had any advice on which i should continue or switch ? I'll attach photos once I have time. Isn't there a certain point laser stops working?

Thanks,
Rose
Ps:I got my nails did first time today awesome :)

It took me ten times to get the effect I wanted. After six, the reduction was barely noticeable.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Laser will only stop working if your hair gets too light (blonde or gray) to absorb the light energy.  IIRC even really fine hairs still "burn" when lased.  Facial hair seems to be very stubborn with some people.  My beard and neck has also been very resistant to IPL treatment, even though it's pretty dark and thick. I think I've hit it about a dozen times and it's slowed down but not stopped growth. Hopefully, it will eventually give up and die(die! die! die! LOL!).

I've heard that starting with laser if possible and finishing with electrolysis is a most cost effective option for permanent hair removal, considering electrolysis is the only method that's actually technically permanent (gotta finish with it!)

laser really stops being effective when hairs are light or hard to see, laser isn't even a feasible option for me because I'm blonde.

They make a dye to stain lite hair so that it is effected by laser/IPL.  I think it is just carbon black, but I could be wrong.  Haven't tried it or even really researched reviews of it.
