So I started with a timeline of getting three surgeries done within this year, FFS in the late winter/spring, SRS in the summer, and VFS in the late fall/winter.

I originally researched and settled on surgeons for each procedure - Dr. Spiegel for FFS, Dr. McGinn for SRS, and The Yeson Voice Center for VFS. However, I didn't get a good gut feeling from my consultation with Dr. Spiegel and decided not to continue with him for FFS.

This has left me a bit lost on who to go about researching, meeting with, and choosing for FFS. Is there anyone you all here have had success with or feel comfortable with in that they're providing a service to help us, not make money off of us?

Also, in my opinion FFS is just a group of individual procedures done every day to people not even transitioning. Is an FFS specific surgeon necessary? Might a normal plastic surgeon be viable?

I think doing some research really brings helps you lean towards a surgeon, I'm having a consultation with Dr. Bart next week in London, I'm pretty certain he will be my guy for the job, after much research and balancing out quality, value for money , among others, he seems like the perfect choice, I just hope he comes across nice and caring enough at the consultation. You seem to be like me, I have to be comfortable with whomever I will be entrusting my face to. Good luck with your search Hun.
