Hi, first post here, I'll try to keep it brief.  I've spent a lot of time feeling trapped career-wise thinking there was no way I could be able to transition.  Things have changed in a way that is kind of a double edged sword. I've jumped into the career of long haul over the road trucking and now I see the opportunity to be able to afford going on hormones, keep it relatively hidden as the hormones take effect, and save up the money I need for surgery in the future. On the negative side this is something that I wouldn't feel safe with people noticing when I'm on the road, and there's the fear the hormones might start working faster than I was planning for them to become apparent. But anyway, I feel like I'm ready to start soon. I'm curious if anyone here is in a similar situation. Also with me being on the road, I need a psychologist and doctor that can largely supplement in-office visits with phone visits and won't have any issues with my desire to be on hormones before going public. I guess that's a bunch of stuff for an intro, but here I am ready to get started. :)

Changes take a while to become obvious. Even so it is possible to keep breasts hidden under layers of clothes.

Cheers

I realized I left out the important part that I'm MTF, at least once I start the transition process, it's been a long time sitting at the gate, but I'm ready to change that soon...

Hi Trucker!

Welcome to the family, new sister o' mine. :D

I'm sure you can find a therapist that can work around your on-the-road schedule. I wish I could say something more definitive, but I don't really know. I do know you have support here no matter where you go. I'm so happy for you that you're beginning to transition.

Let us be your home away from home.

Be careful with me 'cause I'd like to stay that way
