So me and my family had a recent talk about the costs of my transition, they will cover SRS and VFS. Here is the problem, my uncle is an archaeologist who claims to be a master of aesthetics says that I absolutely dont need anything other than a Rhinoplasty to pass. Sadly he isnt an expert on trans stuff so I dont believe him 100%. The family believes in him so I need to pay from my own pocket if I want to have anything other than a nose job. Here is a new picture of me at 3 months HRT. Judge me harshly so I could learn the things that I can get fixed :p

Longer term HRT will change the face quite a bit, fat will redistribute, thinning your face, but won't change cheekbones/jawline/shape as your bones are already set.  The rhinoplasty would be my choice, making it slimmer, and maybe a bit of "ski ramp" bow or just a bit flatter line.  Thinning the brows, with a bit more arch would help too..  but not much would be needed.  The one thing most guys have is a brow ridge (I reeeeeeally hate mine), FFS would likely lower it (shave the bone), allowing a straighter line from forehead to brow..  Have you checked what noses go for yet?  For any need, I would start saving my nickels anyway..

No, your face doesn't go thinner on hormones. If it works well it will go fuller.

Yes, hormones do change your cheekbones, by gaining a layer of fat around them.

Adding fat around them, yes, changing the bone structure, no.

Still, it redistributes the fat ..

How about starting from the beginning by shaping the eyebrows and getting rid of the facial hair?? Cause no matter how much ffs goes on a face will never look feminine without that taken care of first, also 3 months on HRT is a very short period of time, biggest changes are seen from the 1st to second year on HRT and believe me it WILL change your face too, I would agree that you need a rhinoplasty and would wait for transition to be a little further so you can make a good assessment of what needs doing, cause a person that may be suggested let's say cheek implants may not need them after 2 years of HRT! Yeah but do go for the rhino it will definitely feminise u ,together with brow re shaping and facial hair removal... Then decide what needs doing with the new canvas... You can try starting to save some money in the mean time just in case anyway , u have light brow bossing but it isn't that male at all either Hun... Good luck

Thanks for the replies!

I am in panic mode now because I always expected that my family would pull a green light for FFS like everything else, that is why I am impatient right now :p

I am already at 11 laser sessions for beard removal so that is been taken care of. I cannot touch my brows at this stage because I still need to present as a male until january and I live in a muslim country. Messing up with brows is a huge red flag at this stage which I am hoping to avoid. My uncle says that I dont have brow bossing but I know that I have some brow bossing which is obvious and that is one of my main concerns at this stage. I wont get anything done while still waiting for HRT to do its work, I have plenty of time to spend in male mode anyway :p I am just trying to plan for the future and see what the community can spot even at this unattractive stage that I am in.

I think I can see why your uncle would say that, it is possible that most of the brow boss type effect you seem to have is because of thick brow hair. A rhinoplasty would look good imo, and makes a lot of sense if you did eventually want to have some brow bone work done.

You'd be seriously amazed at what getting your eyebrows done, and what rhinoplasty can do! Your jaw is very very feminine and your lips and mouth area are also very feminine. Your forhead is masculine but not bad, especially if your eyebrows are thinned out and with a hairstyle that can feminise it. hope this helps.
