Hello! I'm sorry if it's not allowed to upload this kind of pictures in the forum, but as you may understand the objective is purely academic, so to speak :P

I'm somewhat concerned about my vagina. The surgery was almost two months ago and I'm still healing, but still, I wish you would give me your opinion because the sad truth is that I have no-one to speak about this in here. I would have liked to have my surgery with any world-wide referenced doctor like the ones mentioned in this forum, but all I could afford was in South America.

So I'm going to share my concerns with you, if that's okay :)

Depth: It's around 6 1/2''. I'm worried that it's not enough and I might have troubles in the future when I have to do it with my boy. Do you think it will be enough? I'm trying hard everyday to get more depth but i'm stuck like that, when it starts hurting I just can't go on. Is it possible to gain more depth with more time trying?

Appeareance: When I first saw it I was a little bit scared. It doesn't look like I thought vaginas were for what I knew and saw. Now, while it heals, it's starting to look better. The clit was big and heart-shaped, but as it can be seen in the pictures, now it's starting to get smaller and 'hide', until I open my legs wide and do the dilation exercises. The left side of the clit is winning the hiding game so far :P

Scars: They got me a worried as well. I knew we all were warned about them. But... Do you think they're normal the way they are?

Sensibility: It's still weird. The most sensitive zone right now is the clit, which I can't really explain. At first it was pretty much painful but as the time goes on it's no longer uncomfortable. Now I can touch it without feeling that pain, just something different. Nothing 'sexy' or exciting though, It seems that I will have to wait some more for that.

I hope you can give me your opinion and advice. Thanks for reading!

I know you were just trying to get input, but we can't allow nudity on the forum, given that we are accessible to both people that are underage, and by non-members.  I had to remove them.

I figured it out, it's too bad, but I understand. There's no problem, and sorry :)

Six and a half inches is a very respectable depth depending on where you are measuring from and how.  I use a dilator that has dots on its surface that can be felt, and mine goes into the labia majora right to the 6.5 inch dot.  I only know of one or two girls who are deeper and even ones with super long boy friends have no trouble getting them inside the love chute.  Your depth sounds very good.

At two months, you have a very long ways to go in your healing.  I had elements of sensitivity that changed for the greatly better over an 11 month time frame, and at 15 months I still get a mild improvement or two every two or three weeks.  Scars will also fade over the next 10 months for you and hair will regrow on your outer labia and on your bikini line where the major large scars are likely to be, and that will help hide some scarring in that area.  Genetic women come in so many shapes and sizes that only a Gynecologist would be able to be sure you are not genetic just by looking at you, and it will not be one thing alone that gives them a clue.  Unless you are bleeding badly or are having a fishy smell from the area of your surgery, you are most likely doing fine, but either of those requires a trip to a doctor to be treated.  Calm down, and just rest for a couple more weeks, follow instructions for dealing with swelling and dilate on your surgeons schedule.  You folks have some really great surgeons where you live, and it sounds like you had one.

I would expect the clit to be very sensitive, it is on many cis women. Maybe give it time to heal properly? It might respond differently if and when aroused?

Out of curiosity (and off topic I suppose, sorry), just how deep are cis women? I imagine a lot of it has to do with their height? You couldn't expect as much depth on a 4'8" woman compared to a 5'11" woman surely??

6.5 is very good depth im 5 but happy with it.

when you first see your vagina oks a mess thats normal after all someone has just cut you and put things in a different place dont worry.

I take a photo everyday of mine and the changes are subtle but definitely going in the right dirrection.

im 7 weeks post now and still swollen with more feeling coming back.

Depth is based upon how much material you have and where the end of your douglas pouch is after that its dangrous and also your pelvic size btw im 5'11.

Scars fade in time, you sound like you're having a great recovery, keep it up!

6.5" is plenty. The average aroused cis woman is apparently around 4.5-4.75", and the vast majority of them can handle most men just fine. :) (And any guy who's got a really long penis... is aware that he's going to bottom out in a lot of women, and isn't likely to be surprised or suspicious if it happens.)

As others have said, scars will fade. Two months is still really early.

Ditto as well that the clit is *supposed* to be super sensitive; plenty of cis women can't even touch it directly. That's a good thing for you!

(http://www.webmd.com/women/features/vagina-size "The most commonly used measurements regarding the size of vaginas come from Masters and Johnson's work from the 1960s. They looked at 100 women who had never been pregnant and found that vagina lengths, unstimulated, range from 2.75 inches to about 3¼ inches. When a woman is aroused, it increased to 4.25 inches to 4.75 inches.")

The clit is supposed to be really sensetive as it is in cis girls. 6.5 inches is more than enough. I am hoping for around 5 to 7 inches of depth when I have my surgery.

How long did it take before you were able to walk without pain..?

Are you able to sit for extended periods without being in pain..?

Do you have a link you can PM me to the pictures I am curious to see what your results look like.

I'm many years post op now.

The clit is supposed to be really sensetive as it is in cis girls.

Mines very sensitive, and sort of works like this.
Not turned on, not wet enough & not ready for it, touch it, I'll jump back and theres a chance I may kick or knee you, very much like my feet which only I can touch.
Turned on, wet enough & ready, its the most wonderful spot I can be touched, the first touch I roll my jumps, jump a little and bot oh boy.
It took about 2 years before it was like this, before then I went from "yuck yuck yuck, that things not sexy at all" to "ummm, nice, but those pornstars had to be faking everything" to "now this is great" to what I'm like now.

6.5 inches is more than enough. I am hoping for around 5 to 7 inches of depth when I have my surgery.
I've got about 6 to 7 inches, I've slept with a bigger guy or 2 and had no issues. I've given up and no longer care if I'm "deep" or not, never had any issues and I'll say most long term girls are the same.

How long did it take before you were able to walk without pain..?
To this day....
Oh you mean from SRS, I was up and walking within a week, but I'll get tired. The pain wasn't that bad thanks to the drugs, however I would feel it if they were wearing off. About a month later I was walking around the block, about 2 I was lightly jogging.

Are you able to sit for extended periods without being in pain..?
It wasn't so much a pain than a numb dull feeling that would bore you into the pain.

Do you have a link you can PM me to the pictures I am curious to see what your results look like.
Nope, unless you're about to be bedded, or are one of my closest friends and I'm drunk you won't see mine.
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that

Thank you so much for your answers! I am relieved to know that cis women have around 4'' something depth. But... Are you sure about that? Really? It's, well, strange.

The clit sensibility is something like Nicole said, right now, it is very sensitive, but unpleasant when touched. While time keeps going on, it's starting to becoming less and less unpleasant, but it's still not nice.

It was very hard for me to stand up when I had to wake up from the bed, and my family wasn't very helpful exactly. They were tired of beeing there for a week on another city, and wanted to get out of there that same day as soon as possible, so I was kinda forced to stand and have a shower and get dressed... They barely gave me time for brushing my hair, but I survived.

Sitting and walking was very unfomfortable the first week. And I used to get tired very easy. To sit, I had to use pillows, and to use the computer I needed to do it in bed with a notebook, pretty much laying. Now, with two months, it's still somewhat uncomfortable to sit without pillows, but I can do it usually with no problems.

Now, I wouldn't show mine too since I am very shy and conservative. But... Well, you're pretty much far away and we will never meet, and I really need opinions, so... I'm doing it. I ll send the pictures requested and will wait for your feedback :)

P.D: Uhmm... It seems that I'm not allowed to see profiles and send PMs. I don't know why.

for the most part it looks good. your scars are rather pronounced. I am concerned about that, I have heard drinking Cinnamon Tea will help with circulation which should help the scars fade. My suggestion would be to use lots of moisturizer on it. also I think they have these pads you put over the scar to help minimize it, if after a few more months you still have the scars you can have a scar revision. you may consider looking into it now, just to do the research. I am hoping your scars will fade over time.

It's probably best to get a lot of rest so that your body can recover from the surgery.

Also why does it look like your clitoris is slightly elevated, maybe there is still a little bit of stump left over..? maybe it's just still swollen.

and what are those 2 dark specs on the first picture in the area where the ovaries typically sit..?
  •

Meria

I'm skinny, so the two specs you mentioned were made when they used a little bit of my belly to take it down and create a 'venus mount' that is probably still swollen, maybe that's whats making the clitoris look slightly elevated. And I don't get what you mean with the 'stump'.

And I ll research what can I do to deal with the scars.

Hi Meria (And the moderator Colleen),

Meria: Interesting thread, as I'm currently researching SRS surgeons and results for my own reassignment surgery that I'd like to do over the next year or so. Congrats on your sugery and hope you continue to have a good recovery. I'd love to have seen the photos you uploaded to give you my thoughts but disappointed to see they were removed.

Colleen, I understand this is a public forum accessible by children but..I don't want to come across rude but are we still in Victorian times? I find it hard to believe we aren't allowed to share pictures of neo-vaginas in a medical context? Think it's pretty fair to say the internet is filled with sexual and non-sexual photos of vaginas that underage people can find very easily...I thought a place like Susan's (like other sites aimed at informing the TS community) surely would see the benefits of being able to share these photos as a means of discussion and research.

Meria: Regarding vaginal depth, I'd be quite satisfied if you have 6 inches or more. However, what Samantha007 says above is correct - though the average aroused depth of a natal vagina may be only 4 to 5 inches, these are able to expand considerably when required (with bigger guys!) and the uterus retract in response to pressure. As neo-vaginas don't have the ability to expand any longer than what is given, it's important to have as much depth as possible if you don't want the issues of men bottoming out during intercourse. Sure, the avarage cis female may not be able to accomodate the full length of a very long guy...but on the whole, having discusssed with many female friends (and my own mother looool), it's rare girls aren't able to fully accomodate the entire length of most men. So yeah, as part of my research, depth is definitely an important consideration for me personally.

Anyway, if you've built up enough posts and want to PM me to arrange sending your pics to my email I'd be happy to take a look and give you my thoughts!

Gigi
