Actually for much more than just today, the kindness and generosity of a dear friend

I think my mum is getting more use to the change as earlier she surprised me when I was talking to her and she randomly said "I should plat your hair" I said sure if she wants and she replied with "only if you want me to" I said sure and this resulted.



Ugh at my shoulders though. lol

Had a problem at work with some data coming out incorrect from the system.
Investigated, analysed, did some head scratching.
Went for a walk found the reason and came up with the solution which worked and fixed it.

My analyst had no idea how I did it.
Probably because I'm brilliant.

There was a thing at my son's school to prepare for Kindergarden in September during which I found out there will be at least two other autistic kids his age, so he won't be the only one. Also I noticed a rainbow sticker on the door. Oh good. Maybe it won't be as awkward to explain how he has two biological dads.

My time-off request for Thursday 6/26 was approved. I can now in good conscience go to see THE MARCH VIOLETS (!) when they play in SF on 6/25 and not worry about being out too late on a work night. I'm one happy Elder Goth^TM!

I had a dream where I was a girl - born one! And got to go shopping in a mall for outfits. Oh my gawd! Why did I have to wake up!!

Finding out today that head office has my title listed down as Ms. at both venues.  Worked at different sites casually for over 10yrs always as Mr. only people from head office that have seen me and my name are the business managers, auditors and security.  Don't know who you are that did it but thank you

Got a call from my doctor, they got my psyche eval about a week ago and he wanted to schedule a meeting to discuss HRT, probably only a blood test away now.

got together with two different friends. long walks with both. they are both trying so hard to be supportive. it's great. the tide was way out for the walk with one of my friends. I love the beach. and I took my other friend to a trail by the river I just discovered and she didn't know about. so that was great

oh and her 5 year old, who I adore, came up and gave me a huge hug.

Yeah, she is beautiful.  

Finally found the motivation to go to a specialist running shop to have my gait assessed & some new running shoes fitted. I even managed to fit into a men's size shoe rather than the usual junior sizes, which was brilliant. Now that I have fully recovered from top surgery and I have the right shoes, I have zero reasons to not hit the treadmill. Starting Monday, that's exactly what I'll be doing.

As a double happy, on my way to the running shop I spotted a gay couple on the other side of the road, holding hands in public. Made my day.
