I agree with JamesG, most of the negative portrayals were from a decade ago or older.  The only new game I remember being mentioned in that category was Grand Theft Auto V, but that game portrayed every aspect of life negatively.  All of the modern games he cited only had "sexy lesbians" so I really think the lack of LGBT inclusion is a bigger problem today than negative portrayal.

OT- My sis just informed me that her fav show has a trans story at the moment, and she thinks that they should of got a trans to play the part. I did mention that some trans are idistinguishable from cis born and that it still could be.

It is a wonderful interactive narrative.  Very well made and captures all the right emotions, but I wouldn't call it a video game.

To be honest with you, I agree. I really don't see the issue. I love Game Theory on youtube but I dout video game companies have an anti gay stance. And it doesn't make sense anyway. Companies exist to make money. If they took an anti-anything stance they would loose a fair amount of customers. Addressing these issues and taking a stance on them would hurt their profits. I've seen/heard of games taking on the issues, but never giving a real stance. As for GTA's gay character... GTA is all about violence, everyone including the main characters have issues. The gay guy has issues, but he's 1 guy with issues in a huge ocean of people with issues. Not like everyone else was stable and he was singled out for issues. As for the gay/gender-bending characters being villains, I don't see why we need to make a big deal of that. And honestly, what the heck was birdo doing on that list? What does it have to do with anything? Just because it's pink? IDK.  There are enough issues in the world, let's not investigate video games to find more.
