I'm about 5'10". Not super tall, but enough that I get comments about it all the time. People are like, "You are so tall.", or heard from a distance to someone else regarding me "She's so tall.", or directly to me as a compliment for being able to reach things out of the average female's height range, "It must be nice to be so tall." Height has some advantages, certainly you can reach things in higher places perhaps without a stepladder. I have long slim legs to go along with that height, makes for walking easy and fast with long rapid strides. But, then I also get or hear comments from guys about liking girls with long legs. Uh-huh, I'm sure. But, for me I'd still like to have been shorter, maybe 5'5"-5'7", for ease of clothes shopping and smaller feet would have been nice too.
I dress what I consider 'normal' clothes, have never been into flashing or fancy, never been one to want to draw the kind of attention it would bring my way. I'm more for subtle but pretty look. In colder weather I almost always wear jeans, and simple, very basic long sleeved top. Hot weather such as now, tank top and shorts. Shoes, comfort wear only such as sneakers or sandals, I will not sacrifice comfort for pretty or stylish. And I tend to wear my shoes out very quickly, and even after they had long begun to fall about I still wear them until I can find another pair to replace them. I do wear dresses and skirts occasionally, but being a homebody, no point dressing up in anything too pretty, what, to the grocery store, Walmart, eh, perhaps, but who am I out to impress. I wear whatever I feel like wearing, but do take note of self that I look good before going out.
