Thanks. I've been using ladies rooms exclusively since I went full time 5 years ago. I had to go kind of bad that day cause there was a long checkout line so I just quickly pushed my full cart over and headed for the closest rest room not checking whether it was the mens or the womans. My new friends little boy saved me some embarrassment.

Yes he did have great manners come to think of it. His name is David and he's 9 years old now. I don't get to see him or his Mom as much as I'd like to anymore because they moved farther away from me than they were originally. He's still a very well mannered little Boy.

Went to the gym in my usual outfit (without makeup because who goes to the gym in makeup? lol) and my shadow was barely visible but still visible. Got out and was waiting for my wife to pick me up and one of the employees who I became acquainted with recently (and doesn't know that I'm trans as far as I know) walked out and said "why you all alone? Waiting for someone?" and i said "yeah I'm waiting for my wife " and she responds in the most unexpected way:

"aww you guys are married! That's so beautiful! Where did you guys get married? *look of confusion*", Same-sex marriage is completely "banned" in Florida even as "civil union" so that question pretty much says it all ^_____^

When I said "right here " she has this look on her face that said "but how?" mixed with "thats so cute *aww face*"

Also; just this morning when I got to work, the phone rang and I answered ~ don't know if this counts as passing but the customer who was calling confused me with another female coworker of mine; total confidence boost xD

In some ways acceptence can be passing. Most my familly say to each other "cant you tell shes supposed to be a girl" like a social pass as aposed to a visual one?

I agree.  I was a steward on the Reclaim The Night march this year.  That's a woman only event and the other stewards know my background.  I count that as real acceptance.

You know you pass when someone you've just met gives you creepy attraction vibes and then starts openly bashing trans people in a conversation with you and your friend.

Then you wait for the right moment to tell them and "pop" goes their head.

My voice is low and my speech has very strong local accent, making everybody know that I am a man. On Friday, I stopped at a hair salon before going to the airport. I chatted a lot with the two young ladies there while they cared my hair for about 2 hours. One lady, the owner of the salon, always called me 'eonni'. Eonni is a word used by korean females to address another female older than them who they are close to. http://ko.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=eonni

At first I thought she intentionally called me 'eonni' to just please me even though she knew I am a kind of trans. Then her hands inadvertently touched my chest and bras while she combed my hair. I know that this kind of close body contact from an adult female means that she is recognizing me as a woman.

In any case, I was glad that she treated me as a woman, even though I did not expect or ask it. And the charge was exceptionally expensive, but I could not complain at all.

My hair she finally dressed.

We need to downplay the old part, she's not that old even if she feels that way from her recent birthday.

Well in the Korean culture, one must know who's older to address someone properly. That's why sometimes they do ask for your age to be able to address someone. It is by no means a disrespectful thing, it is the other way around.
