I've been on hormones 4 months, started on a very low dose and now I've risen slightly.
I have the Zoladex implant every 3 months but after my most recent one I've felt a spike in testosterone which was over a month ago and I feel like I'm still having a spike in it.
My first implant I took Cyproterone for 2 weeks after to surpress any T incase of a spike, and it shouldn't happen after the 1st one.
For example, my libido has gone up and I feel like my body hair is growing faster.
I went to see my doctor and he gave me Cyproterone to have for another 2 weeks to see if this can get rid of this spike but I'm not sure if will even help.

Anyone else ever experienced this or have any advice?

You have to give it time to kick in 4 months is very short

But after my 1st implant and my Cyproterone cycle was over I noticed a huge drop in testosterone. Now it's raised. It's not that it's always be high. It's shot back up.

I think it takes a fair while for a tblocker to really start keeping ur T down but that being said have you spoken to your endo about this? If its a concern I'm sure he would blood test(kinda sounds like you have anyway) and adjust your tblocker up or maybe add another type. Might depend what type of T has gonna up.

Well my Doctor has given me some Cyproterone for a 2 week period to see if that keeps the T down. If it doesn't then I'll have to call the Gender Clinic because my doctor doesn't seem to have a clue.

Im interested in what you mean by not working if its just a flare it can happen if you still getting wood or aroused but no wood it can happen.

on cypro for 2yrs I could still get it up and still get aroused dispite me having a t level of 0.3 so maybe s blood test first to see whats happening.

The pituitary gland can notice that you need more T in your blood, and cause it to spike in order to keep up. It will probably eventually level off after it tires out from over production and realize that the rest of your body doesn't want T.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Well shortly after my 2nd implant I suddenly could get spontaneous erections again which I didn't get before, my facial and body hair started to grow quicker and I noticed a change in my moods.

Ah okay, maybe that's it then. I've been given Cyproterone again so now I'm going to lose even more T so I hope it doesn't spike again.
