Do they work ok? Mine are fused and hardly move, we can chop mine off and I probably wouldn't even feel it. Try and visualize two reversed barrel staves, that's how flat my feet are, no arches whatsoever, I think my ankle bones touch the ground when I walk. Don't feel sorry for yourself when it comes to ankles because your singing to the choir here.

Maybe we can meet somewhere in between. I used to have pretty good arches, but a couple of enlistments in the paratrops when I was young and stupid took the spring out of them for good.

You can never complain someone always has it worse then you.  For me its seems to run in the family everyone has at least a dodgy hip,  knees or ankles.  My sister and I have all three we have good days and days where our bodies are held together by spit grit and duct tape. Hasn't stopped us much from doing what we want to do,  but one must be allowed a wine now and again.

Saw all these signs saying Bill Posters will be prosecuted. Thinking who is this person and what has he done wrong

Sounds like we're doing a little one-upmanship on who is the biggest wreck, well kids I'm older than dirt, will be 71 Aug 3rd, have macular degeneration, a hole in my right eye vision, cataracts and deaf as a clam without my hearing aids, so yeaaaaa I win!
