What's up all!My name is Finesse (Shelden) and I am a 26 year old Trans Man with lots going on! I've been reading the site quite often and I'd like to thank those of you (I'm not sure exactly who you are) that has helped me through so many things like T, Doctor's App, and just research in general. I finally decided to make a username and give the forum community a try!
Well I'm excited as hell right now, My GF and I are pregnant (she is carrying) and today we went to the doctor for our first ultra sound of the baby. Although It was tiny because she is only 8 weeks... We got to hear a heartbeat, I almost cried. I've been on T for only a month now but I can see and feel certain changes happening physically. My shoulders are broadening and my throat is starting to hurt due to the testosterone. I haven't heard a voice drop because my voice is already deep, but I am excited to see the changes!
Overall, I cannot believe I have a kid on the way. Some of our ideas for parenting are a little unorthodox but definitely not illogical. I just can't wait to see what is in store. We also found out the due date of the baby (Dec. 30th) She/He will be my christmas gift!!
I would like to know... what are some of you all's views on parenting? and how do you think being trans is or will effect our children?
Should one tell their child up front that daddy used to be a woman? (when it is old enough to fathom) Or should daddy just be daddy and leave it at that?
I have started to document my transition a bit... and I will continue to be on here and engage with other's, but if you would like to follow me visually you are more than welcome to do so on youtube! Be Sure to Subscribe and also comment on the videos!
