I hear how some guys here think they don't have a dick and how they sometimes fantasize about having one I mean seriously have some of you guys even studied human sexuality, We all start out with female genetalia in the womb hormones just mutate it, So technicqually you have an underdeveloped penis it just didn't grown that big because of th testostrone missing your body, There even shockingly teaching us about it in school, Not to get to graphic but mine even looks like it and it moves on its own and I can feel it, it also gets hard mainly bcause everyone has erectile tissue, Like someone said along time ago when a girl says suck her **** she techniqually has one so she's right. And I only say that because I have friend who is a girl who always tells people to.

You are correct.  The inverse is also true.  A penis is just a mutated enlarged clitoris.

However, aesthetically as well as by other definitions they are different, and while it can help for both transmen and transwomen to view things this way, what we hope for, and often need isn't always what we were given.  It can be hard to rationalize the aesthetic differences.

Brandon, that's great that your school is teaching people about that. I agree with you. It is homologous, and it's helpful for me to think of it like a micropenis with hypospadias (still will need surgery to rearrange/remove "other stuff", but a little help with dysphoria is better than no help). But not every coping mechanism helps everyone, same as how packing makes some guys feel better, but not others.

It's kind of funny now that I'm on hormones my penis feels smaller much more like a clit.

Whatever people need to tell themselves to get through the day and night.

who cares? to each their own, if they feel like they have a penis great, if they dont, they dont, dysphoria is different for everyone, yeah i consider my clit a penis, but thats me, whatever makes someone comfortable in their own skin

I don't think it's more of an educational issue more so than just a coping mechanism. As everyone else said, to each their own.
I run a FtM blog where I pour my experiences out for others to read. Check it out!
