Hello all,
I'm just starting my journey in the MTF camp, and while I won't say I'm getting old, I will say my age is XLIII. Yes, I know, it took me a while to stop denying things and get serious, but you all know that story by heart by now; the names, dates and places just change. The major twist I throw in the story is that I married an outright lesbian who loves me with all her heart. This means her attitude is 90% "Honey, I love you and want you to do whatever makes you happy." The other 10% is, "Will you quit stalling and give me some boobs to play with?" I knew my spouse's attitude was unusual and freakishly lucky, and looking around at all the other stories here has only reinforced that. I've made it as far as some full-body laser, still ongoing. I'm going to try to get HRT started next quarter. I have some weight-loss goals, mostly brought about by a job with too much traveling for decent meals rather than the depression issue we're so vulnerable to. I'm in the process of training for a career switch, as I really can't transition in my current job with my current employer, and that will help move things along, with a target date on that also in the next quarter.
I've looked around long enough to know that you're a wonderful group, and I look forward to getting to know all the strong, wise, and lovely ladies here together with the strong, wise, and charming gentlemen. You're an awesome resource and I want to use you for all you're worth, and then pay it forward.
