I have a job with a marketing firm.  It's great.  The only time my gender came up was when HR notified me that my social security had the wrong gender.  I told them that SS tracks sex, not gender, and then explained that I was trans, and that while I put female gender, because that's my gender identification--any records that are dealing with sex organs are going to say male.

And that was that.  Other than that, I haven't had any questions at all about my gender and I get along really well with everyone at work, who are all super nice.  The pay and benefits are good.

I live in Rhode Island.  Blue states are where it's at.
