Getting sized at the store has made the biggest difference in comfort.  Not all bra shapes are the same.  I probably tried on at least 15 bras, before I could decide what I wanted.  Depending on what I wore with it also makes a big difference.  In my case, the sales girl fetched different outfits for me so I could get an even better idea of what would work.  Even sports bras fit so differently and worth trying on a few different brands.

Yeah Stacy so true and cup sizes vary from one brand to the next, sometimes rather dramatically. As one gal pointed out a larger band size with B cup would be a D cup in a smaller band size, so cup sizes are proportional to band sizes which really threw me for a loop for awhile.

Just wanted to add to this: Bought a pair of these Genie Bras.

Most comfortable thing ever. I only wear it for working out, but its so unbelievably comfortable. And what I love most about it is that it accentuates what little i have to call boobs, even with just puffy nipples and mild breast tissue, it makes my boobs look natural instead of having to wear a C cup like I usually do and having it be totally empty inside.

We have another winner!!!

I did notice that it does accentuate everything. I'm happy you enjoy them too.

This is THE PERFECT BRA! The Coobie bra is simple and ingenious two sizes that fit any body type regardless of the usual band to cup ratio problems. Step in and pull it up, straps will not slide off even the roundest shoulders, cookies conceal nipples or can be removed to minimize breasts under men's shirts if you're not out at work yet. Very inexpensive, I have four in different colors and am modeling a white one here with the cookies removed.

Is this the Genie Bra? It looks great on you Auntie Shan!

I looked yesterday in my local Wal-Mart, and like most everything else in there, every bra I looked at was too big for me size wise all starting at 36 and up. The biggest I can wear that won't fall off is a 34. My boobies now fill an A cup nicely but I couldn't even find any A's at all, only B's and up.

So I tried the 'bandage' method with an elastic medical band.

Ughh. I have this line printing all around my upper torso under my shirt and it was obvious I was wearing something.

Probably have to get a thicker cotton golf shirt instead. The nylon tennis shirt is too conforming.

From the other side here. If your looking to conceal bra straps why not wear a compression shirt over it? My binders that I used pre-top surgery showed unless I wore a compression shirt over it. I think mine was a Champion one and it wasn't very compressive, but it helped blend my binder straps and seams into my body. Binder straps and seems generally are a lot more noticeable than bra straps. You could also possibly use a wife beater shirt over your bra to hide the straps.

I think this is the one I used http://www.amazon.com/Champion-Double-Short-Sleeve-Compression-T628-V/dp/B004YDJ3TI. The compression shirt shouldn't fit super tight, but just enough to blend the outlines (after you put a button down or t-shirt). I think target sells this product, but if you find a cheaper compression shirt go for it.

Hey David, thanks for your feedback. I'm ordering one of these cheapo binder vests to see how I can work that out.

I'll head over to the sports store and checkout some of the under armour stuff as well. Will mix a few things up and see if I can get a combo that works.
